I'm wondering if "Strange World" is the right title for this. The reason I say this is because once you see the landscapes and the characters it's clear that the world this story takes place in is indeed strange. I hate to say it but it's almost redundant. A more ambiguous name may be more appropriate. Have you had any other feedback on the title?

I really dig the story, by the way.

Oh that insectoid ship... change the title to "Awesome Comic, it'll fit as well as "Strange World"

Thanks, don't recall having any feedback on the title. It was originally called "Fantastic Voyage" but Strange World had a better ring to it. Yes I suppose it is a bit redundant as it's obvious this is a strange world. I fell in love with that title though and it didn't want to shake. It will be fun to show the difference between this and the first issue of Hob Bob. I'm putting so much microscopic obsessed details into that fucker that it's ridiculous.

Also, I'd like to point out that I drew this entire book without being remotely aware of Matt Brinkman's work. You can imagine my surprise when I saw his comics in Paper Rodeo for the first time. Whatever weird artistic radiowave my brain functions on is apparently not too far off from his I think.

It's both frustrating and kinda cool when you come across an artist that really is mining the same territory as you. I've seen a few comics on the shelf and thought, "Well, that's just what I am (or, more often, would want to be) doing" and then it's back to the ol' drawing board. It does make you feel "okay" to know that you're not alone and there's other weirdos out there...like this group we've got.
