I don't like much the inclusion of text here, seems forced to me and kind of distracting from what it is a great picture, very striking figure.

What's the technique?

ey-up! my first bit bof criticism from a fellow duckie!
maybe the text is a bit unneccesary, it refers to the figures germ infection paranoia.
I used good old POSCA markers on black card and inverted it on the computer, then stuck an inverted photo in the back.

i'm liking all of your stuff man. alot. i wish you'd update your blog more as well. there is a freedom in your linework that is unusual for the amount of linework you're doing! it's great. anyhow, i'm not sure how effective the background picture is in this one, but honestly, who cares? i'm going to try & find some of these POSCA markers myself. I like very nice. Chadwee!

Great idea having the head being translucent and filled with these odd forms. This could actually be exploited to great lengths for a high paying gig for some cold medicine relief company or what have you. Reminds me of some surreal interpretation of a medical human anatomical drawing you'd see at a doctors office.

Hey Aeron, the cold medicine idea's ace, cheers!
